30-11-20 : Travel with a plan
The first step for any Europe trip is to work out a rough plan of where you'd like to go. While some people like to leave their schedule open while travelling, not planning your route at all could cost you serious time and money. Europe is deceptively big and transport isnt always straightforward; you can fill in the details later, but a bit of pre-planning will save you zigzagging all over the continent! The most sensible way to do this is to write a list of your top destinations, alongside an idea of how long you've got in total. Next, get out a map and plot a route through your top destinations in Geographical order - for example starting in Spain and working your way East, or beginning with Scandinavia and heading down to the Mediterranean.
01-11-20 : Spaghetti
One of the most popular types of pasta, spaghetti is made from durum wheat and comes in medium-thin strands. It originated in Italy. Although artisanal brands may be made by hand using traditional methods, commercial varieties are produced using state-of-the-art pasta machines. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water, following the packet instructions. It is most widely used with Bolognese (ragù), Carbonara (eggs and bacon), Tomato and Pesto sauces, or combined with vongole or cozze (clams or mussels).
